Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) is the official provider of global and domestic coaching, coach education programmes and football experiences for the club's commercial partners.
Since we began in 1999, we have created and delivered and a full range of football activities for over 500,000 participants.
These participants range from boys, girls and coaches from the grassroots, academy and national game to club partner customers, staff and clients, from across the UK and over 90 different countries. We operate in over 250 towns and cities, in 65 countries.
This unique experience of adapting to and learning from each individual, as well as their different cultures, climates and environments, helps us to inspire all participants to enjoy learning, playing and coaching football through the Manchester United story and creates a platform for our partners to engage with them.
Throughout the club’s rich history to the modern day, the many examples of pioneering attitude, teamwork, skill, strength, never giving in and coming back from defeats, combined with listening and learning from the many passionate and inspirational people we meet on our travels, gives us many positive messages and coaching methods to pass on to young people and coaches, to inspire them to try their best, to learn and develop and, most of all, enjoy the game.
Our ambition is to be a true family and community Academy and to always act with honesty, integrity, respect and humility.
Manchester United is one of the most widely supported football clubs in the world and has rivalries with Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Leeds United. Manchester United was the highest-earning football club in the world for 2016–17, with an annual revenue of €676.3 million, and the world's third most valuable football club in 2019, valued at £3.15 billion ($3.81 billion). After being floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1991, the club was taken private in 2005 after a purchase by American businessman Malcolm Glazer valued at almost £800 million, of which over £500 million of borrowed money became the club's debt. From 2012, some shares of the club were listed on the New York Stock Exchange, although the Glazer family retains overall ownership and control of the club.
David Beckham, George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton, Duncan Edwards, Ryan Giggs, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are just some of the world-famous names who have emerged from Manchester United's legendary youth system, in a long and illustrious tradition spanning 4,000 competitive games and more than 50 trophies.
